About me

Hey, I'm Rodrigo Tavares, born and raised in Osasco/SP, currently living in Barueri/SP, Brazil (🇧🇷). I've been working as a Front-End Engineer since 2015. I currently work as a Senior Software Engineer at Gympass using React, TypeScript, GraphQL and React Native. :)

With over 8 years of experience in building exceptional digital products, my journey has led me through dynamic roles in major Latin American companies including Gympass, Nubank, XP Inc., and Accenture.

I love learning new technologies and teaching other people, I believe that's why this blog was born, I'm currently conducting mentoring with people at the beginning of their careers and also studying more about web performance and entrepreneurship.

In my free time, I like to spend time with my son and my fiancée, watching sports, including NBA, NFL, football, F1, and my beloved Santos FC. I also sometimes have fun in the kitchen and barbecue with my friends.
